Maybe you've seen some posters but aren't sure if they'll fit in your home? Here we give you some good and affordable tips on how to get a completely new living room - which can also be quickly adapted to the posters you want on the wall.
Living room 1.
This is the living room we're going to start with. The first thing we do is remove all the small bits of interior and clutter to create a blank canvas.
Then we put pictures on the wall. We have chosen the popular combination Maria and Shia in size 50x70cm. By using light oak frames we match the color in the table and create a whole there.
Tip! We use command double-sided tape when we hang frames. This gives you a lot of flexibility and not least it saves you from holes in the wall and a lot of unnecessary work. At size 50x70cm we use two tapes per frame on the sides of the frame. NOTE. This is on our frames that are so light, if there is regular glass in your frames we would have gone for a tape on each side of the frame to be sure that it hangs up.
We like things to be easy, so we hang them with two people, and have a helper use a ruler. The great thing about double-sided tape is that if you don't get it right the first time, you can just adjust it a little. Feel free to use the edge of the sofa to place the pictures to get a feel for where they should be on the wall. We go for 10-20cm between the pictures (a ruler is your friend), and hang them on the wall so that they are a little above the height of an average person.
By using flowers and other small interior items, you can bring out some of the colors in the posters. Here we went to a local flower shop (Marihøna blomster), showed them the pictures and received a matching bouquet in return.
And it's so easy to do! With the help of pictures and some flowers, we've created a whole new living room.
We also tested the Signe and Solveig poster combination in 70x100cm in the same room. Notice that we have changed the flowers and added slightly different colors to the cushions and small interior items.
Living room 2.
Using the same techniques as in our previous home, we have hung two poster combinations in a new living room. We first refreshed with the beautiful posters Dahlia and Ivy , before also testing the colorful combination Illona and Mai . Both pairs are 70x100cm. See the transformation - only with the help of pictures, flowers and pillows!
